Have him go be part of some post-apocalyptic biker gang. AMC wants to make an entire spinoff show about these two? Why? Fine, make a Daryl show. This is not a hopeful moment for The Walking Dead as a franchise. I wanted to yell at her by the end of this episode. He has every right to after all the stupid, selfish crap she’s pulled. The only thing this episode achieves is to remind us just how completely terrible Carol has become in every single way.ĭaryl didn’t need to apologize for yelling at her, either. The dialogue throughout is painful and each scene with her and Jerry or her and Dog or her by herself is annoying and awkward. She was almost unbearable throughout Season 10 and she’s even worse in this episode. I’m fine with these bonus episodes all being filler for the most part-they’re bonuses!-but this is just pointless.Ĭarol asks Dog at one point if she should just leave and I think I heard Dog say “yes please, please go far far away and never come back, Carol, you’re the worst.”ĭog is right. Where is everybody else? What is the point of this boring, awful episode? This is a true filler episode but even worse: It’s filler with nothing interesting about it whatsoever. Nobody should ever, ever eat any of Carol’s cooking. There’s probably zombie guts and rat turds in there. She’s hardly exercising any sort of hygiene when she makes it. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want her gross soup either. He thinks Carol is acting crazy and gives her a hug. Jerry shows up from time to time because he’s apparently the only other living person in all of Alexandria right now. He doesn’t want Carol’s gross soup when he gets back and he tells her she can keep the puny pocket knife, he has better tools now. She finally gets Jerry’s soup ready the next day because she can’t cook without electricity (hey fun zombie show!) Daryl kills some army zombies and collects their supplies. She smashes up a wall with a knife and her fists. She and Dog (who, by the way, made the wrong choice) chase the rat.
